Head – Warehouse & Stores

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for warehouse operations across locations.
• Manage material receipt, unloading, inspection, tagging, storage, picking, issuing and dispatch.
• Ensure proper warehouse layout, bin management and space utilisation.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable and ensure safe handling/storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory; monitor slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete materials.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verification; investigate inventory variances.
• Coordinate with Projects, Production, Procurement, SCM, Finance and Operations for material requirements.
• Ensure timely material allocation and project-site dispatch.
• Ensure proper GRN/MRN, inward, outward, transfer, return, scrap and project-wise consumption documentation.
• Plan project-wise dispatches and coordinate with transporters/logistics teams.
• Lead warehouse/store managers, executives, supervisors, operators and contractual manpower.
• Ensure accurate ERP/WMS/Tally transactions and prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS.
• Control warehouse operating costs and improve storage capacity and productivity.
• Develop and implement Warehouse SOPs, controls, automation and digital inventory tracking.
• Ensure warehouse safety, fire safety, security, asset protection and audit compliance.

Qualification:

Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Commerce or related discipline. Additional qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics will be preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Exhibition & Events, Interior Fit-Out, Retail, Furniture Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Project Logistics or Manufacturing industries.
